This is one of the best Cd’s Roberto Ribeiro has dropped to date. On the India charts, superstar Roberto Ribeiro’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. After seeing Fumo de Rolo, I had to have a good Roberto Ribeiro cd. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
Voice and instruments in Tarde Demais complement each other. Inquilino do Universo is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. After about the third Nunca Mais listen through, I began to believe this song is Roberto Ribeiro’s essence. Cinzas da Solid o is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Fantasias. Simple and heartfelt closing track Muita Coisa Para Um Se Cor’o closes Fantasias on a high note. Fantasias is perfect song though, very addictive. I was truly moved when I heard Cantos da vida. Correntes is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Nega Rainha is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Fantasias. Cartas Marcadas is really a nice song to relax and listen too. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion.
